Gleaming encounter odds
Estimate the chance of at least one gleaming in a set number of independent encounters. The defaults illustrate the commonly documented Alpha base rate. Replace them with the rate you are actually hunting.
Chance of at least one success = 1 − (1 − chance per attempt) raised to the number of attempts.
The default chance is 100/4096, about 0.0244 percent, the commonly documented base wild rate for an Alpha gleaming. Gamma is often documented near 100/20480, about 0.0049 percent. Gleaming Charm is documented as doubling the base rate. Change both inputs for a charm, a LoomiBoost, or a Route 9 field rate you have counted yourself. The result is the chance of at least one success across independent encounters. It does not read your save, and pity or horde rules can change the real curve.
